Women's Ministry

Women's Conference 2021

Sisters, join us this spring for our College Church Women’s Conference. Finally, we can come together in person to reflect on God’s faithfulness throughout this last year of pandemic. Our theme comes from Psalm 25: “To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. In you I trust.” Together we will seek to lift up our souls in worship and declare our trust in our faithful and sovereign God. The Book of Psalms reminds us that God is good, even through hard times and speaks to all of our emotions – weariness, anxiety, contentment, joy – pointing us to God’s promised love and faithfulness. Author and speaker Courtney Reissig will be bringing God’s Word to us.

Join us Friday night (7-9 p.m.) for an evening of worship, teaching and testimony and plan to stay afterward for fellowship. Then, come back Saturday morning (8:30 a.m.- noon) for more time together in God’s Word and worship. We hope you’ll stay for an optional catered lunch on Saturday from Blackberry Market to wrap up our time together with fellowship.

Due to COVID restrictions, we have limited spots available, so be sure to register today!
Sessions will be recorded and made available on the Women's Ministry website following the conference.

Women's Bible Study

Wednesday morning 9:15-11:00 a.m.

Wednesday evening 6:45-8:00 p.m.

Women’s Bible Study (WBS) aims to cultivate growth in Christ by bringing women together around God’s Word.  This is done through a weekly format of individual preparation, small group interaction and large group teaching.  WBS seeks to provide a welcoming atmosphere where women of all ages and backgrounds are taught from God’s Word and shepherded in their walk with the Lord.

This fall we studied the book of Genesis using Jen Wilkin’s God of Creation study, a 10-week in-depth study of Genesis 1-11. We will continue our study of Genesis in the spring semester (February 3 - April 21) as we explore together chapters 12-50 using Matthias Media's study, Salvation Revealed.

  • Our spring study of Genesis 12-50, has a few spots remaining. If you would like to join us, please contact Sherri at
  • If you would like to study Salvation Revealed on your own, click here to purchase materials. Recorded teachings will be available on the link below.
  • If you missed our study this fall and would like to study God of Creation on your own, click here to purchase at a discounted price. Recorded teachings are available here.

Mom2Mom (M2M) exists to support moms of young children (ages 0-6) by building community with other moms – moms at the same life stage and moms a little further down the path. This twice a month program is hosted by Mentor Moms who aim to come alongside younger moms in their journey of motherhood by providing encouragement, community, tools and resources.

Mom2Mom typically meets on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month.  Due to health & safety restrictions, M2M will adapt programming this year to the following:

Moms Night Out (1st Monday of the month 7-8 p.m. at College Church)
Moms and mentors will meet in the evening in Commons Hall for small group discussion on Courtney Reissig’s book, Glory in the Ordinary. After the small group discussion, women are invited to an informal hangout time outside with refreshments.

                     Dates: May 3

Mom2Mom Outings (3rd Monday of the month 9:30-11 a.m.)
Moms, children and mentors will be outside together exploring local parks and forest preserves.

Dates: April 19 | Kline Creek Farm

Monthly Gathering is a space where the women of College Church can connect with one another, discuss relevant topics, learn from God’s Word and grow with one another.  This year we’ll be looking at spiritual practices that shape the follower of Christ – Bible Intake, Prayer, Worship, Silence & Solitude, and Learning. We’ll explore the question, “What disciplines or practices promote growth in my relationship with Christ?” It is our hope that this time will pave the way for rich discussion and community building, enabling us to engage with each other as we dig deeper into matters of theology, culture and faithful living.

Mark your calendar for Saturday mornings (9-10 a.m.)
 June 5

We plan to meet in person in the Commons, but you can also meet us on Zoom.

Becoming Disciple-Makers

We want to be a church of disciples who make disciples. As our church grows in this area, one way we desire for this to occur is through intentional, consistent, one-on-one discipleship relationships.
These relationships ultimately enable both parties—the disciple-makers as well as those being discipled—to grow in their knowledge of God and His Word as they mature in their spiritual walks,
and is a beautiful representation of the church community in action.

If you are interested in either discipling, being discipled, or both, please sign up here.
