This year, we are focusing our attention on the Czech Republic.
While most in this country of over 10 million would describe themselves as non-religious, there are faithful Czech Christians, as well as pastors and missionaries serving together in the Czech Republic. We will be sending a team to support them, serving alongside Nathan and Vera Beck (pictured left), College Church missionaries with Greater Europe Mission.
According to Nathan, the team “…will be joining local believers in a pioneering setting to look for new relationships and people open to the gospel and open to long term discipleship.” Our team will be able to work alongside local Czech believers.
“I am so glad to report that so many people were receptive to the gospel. The Czech Republic is less than 1% evangelical Christian. It is considered pre-Christian in that, it is so far removed from being post-Christian, most people have never heard the gospel. But, there is a gospel spark that is glowing bright which we were able to clearly see.” (Josh Stringer, STAMP Czech Republic 2016)
God has not forgotten Europe, and we are excited to join his work there.

This group of high-school students will plan a vacation bible school for youth, help with minor repairs and maintenance of facilities and grounds as well as get to know some neighbors through prayer walks. Our goal is to develop team members' hearts for evangelism and missions both globally and locally, grow individuals in understanding how to effectively minister to those in poverty and encourage the neighborhood through prayer and Bible study.
The team will be serving with through a summer day camp that includes leading bible stories, songs, outdoor games, tutoring games and crafts, bringing dignity to the children by listening to them and serving them through tutoring and having fun. The desire of South Asian Friendship Center for this week is to make new contacts and interact with kids attending the day camp with the hope that these children will integrate into the after-school program during the school year.

We believe that those who participate in a cross-cultural or domestic ministry experience--adults and youth alike--begin to develop a great Christian maturity and become not only more committed to ministry and global missions but also more effective church members who actively engage in praying, going and/or sending.
