Interested in starting a new small group? Joining an existing small group? Feel like your small group could use a refresher? Join us for the four-week class, Small Group Blueprints this fall.

In these four sessions you’ll discover (or re-discover) why and how we do small groups at College Church. Together we will learn and refine group Bible study skills, prayer and accountability habits, and Christian community practices specifically in small groups.

Whether you have been in or led a small group for many years, want to join an existing group, or are interested in starting a new group, this class is open to everyone. So, bring your questions, bring your Bibles, and come ready to learn how College Church proclaims the gospel through small groups.

Small Group Snapshot

  • 6-12 people who gather in one another's homes
  • Meet together at least twice a month
  • Led by leaders who receive ongoing training

Small groups are not an optional aspect of our life together as a church, but rather a vital aspect of how we get to know each other, serve each other and mutually support one another in our journey of faith. Small groups are committed to studying the Bible, sharing, accountability, prayer, service, personal evangelism and neighborhood outreach. Small groups embody three of our four core values (fellowship, learning and outreach) and touch on many of our growth commitments as a church (e.g. smaller gathering, outreach, prayer and service).

Serve as a Leader

Who can be a small group leader? Those who have a passion for God and compassion for people are qualified for leadership. That is the basic requirement. If you are interested in learning more about serving as a small group leader, email or call (630) 668-0878 ext.123 for information.
