  • Monthly Gathering: Let's stay connected and keep discussing important topics! Sign up to receive our weekly email with articles, reflections questions, interviews, etc. to keep us moving along in our conversation about how Christ changes us as Christians. Please find the recent newsletter here.
  • Retreat: Whether or not you were able to attend the women's retreat in February, won't you consider with us what it means to abide in Christ? Listen to the talks from the retreat as our speakers sought to address this question.

Women's Bible Study

Women’s Bible Study (WBS) aims to cultivate growth in Christ by bringing women together around God’s Word.  This is done through a weekly format of individual preparation, small group interaction and large group teaching.  WBS seeks to provide a welcoming atmosphere where women of all ages and backgrounds are welcomed, taught from God’s Word and shepherded in their walk with the Lord.

M2M Newsletter: sign up here to receive our weekly newsletter

Monthly Gathering is a space where the women of College Church can connect with one another, discuss relevant topics, learn from God’s Word and grow with one another.

During our time together throughout the year we will be answering the question, “What does Christ change for us as believers?” In light of this we will cover topics such as identity, contentment and relationships as we wrestle with what our culture says and what the Bible says about these issues. It is our hope that this time will pave the way for rich discussion and community building, enabling us to engage with each other as we dig deeper into matters of theology, culture, and faithful living.

"Abide in Me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself,
unless it abides in the vine,
neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

                                                                               John 15:4

Jesus calls us to abide in him, but what does that really mean? As women with many demands on our attention, we often struggle to dwell, rest and remain in Christ himself. Together we’ll study what God’s Word says about abiding — and take the time to put it into practice as we worship the Lord, connect with one another as as we worship the Lord and connect with one another as sisters in Christ.

Session 1 Dwell Psalm 91 (Laurel Aulie 2/21/2020)
Session 2 Rest Matthew 11:28-30 (Heidi Johanik 2/22/2020)
Session 3 Remain  John 15:1-17 (Debbie Seward 2/22/2020)
Session 4 Abide John 8:31-32 (Annie Gentzler 2/23/2020)
