Women's Bible Study

Women’s Bible Study (WBS) aims to cultivate growth in Christ by bringing women together around God’s Word.  This is done through a weekly format of individual preparation, small group interaction and large group teaching.  WBS seeks to provide a welcoming atmosphere where women of all ages and backgrounds are taught from God’s Word and shepherded in their walk with the Lord.

Join us this this fall as we begin Jen Wilkin’s God of Creation study on Genesis 1-11. This 10-week in-depth study (September 16 – November 18) will look at fundamental truths about God revealed through the creation narrative.

Registration is now closed. If you would like to order materials to study on your own, please register here.

Mom2Mom (M2M) exists to support moms of young children (ages 0-6) by building community with other moms – moms at the same life stage and moms a little further down the path. This twice a month program is hosted by Mentor Moms who aim to come alongside younger moms in their journey of motherhood by providing encouragement, community, tools and resources.

Mom2Mom typically meets on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month (9:30-11 a.m.).  Due to health & safety restrictions, M2M will adapt programming this fall to the following:

Moms Night Out (1st Monday of the month 7-8 p.m. at College Church)
Moms and Mentors will meet in the evening in Commons Hall for small group discussion on Courtney Reissig’s book, Glory in the Ordinary.  After the small group discussion, women are invited to an informal hangout time outside with refreshments.

                     Dates: October 5 | November 2 | December 7

Mom2Mom Outings (3rd Monday of the month 9:30-11 a.m.)
Moms, children and Mentors will be outside together exploring local parks and forest preserves.

                     Dates: September 21  | October 19  | November 16

Monthly Gathering is a space where the women of College Church can connect with one another, discuss relevant topics, learn from God’s Word and grow with one another.  This year we’ll be looking at spiritual practices that shape the follower of Christ – Bible Intake, Prayer, Worship, Silence & Solitude, and Learning. We’ll explore the question, “What disciplines or practices promote growth in my relationship with Christ?” It is our hope that this time will pave the way for rich discussion and community building, enabling us to engage with each other as we dig deeper into matters of theology, culture and faithful living.

Mark your calendar for Saturday mornings (9-10 a.m.) this fall:
October 10 | November 14 | December 12

After the small group discussion, women are invited to an informal hangout time outside with refreshments.

Becoming Disciple-Makers

We want to be a church of disciples who make disciples. As our church grows in this area, one way we desire for this to occur is through intentional, consistent, one-on-one relationships.
These relationships ultimately enable both parties—the disciple-makers as well as those being discipled—to grow in their knowledge of God and His Word as they mature in their spiritual walks,
and is a beautiful representation of the church community in action.

If you are interested in either discipling, being discipled, or both, please sign up here.

Women's Conference 2021
