February 3 - May 5
Wednesdays from 6:45 - 8:00 p.m.
We’re excited to welcome you to Men’s Bible Study.
There are in-person and Zoom options available.
For in-person, we’ll be meeting in room C002, which is located down one level in the Commons building.
Are you planning to read your Bible in 2021? Do you ever wonder how to get the most out of your Bible reading? Want to teach your kids or grandkids how to read their Bibles? Would you like to know how to interpret and apply what you’re reading? Then you should make plans to join us for Men’s Bible Study in 2021!
Wednesday, February 3, we’ll begin a study on hermeneutics, which is all about studying and interpreting the Bible. Dr. Victor Kuligin and Pastor Josh Stringer will lead and teach our way through questions of translation, interpretation, context, and several different genres. Pastor Ben Panner will also be joining us for a few sessions to help us look at application and how the gospel runs through the entire Bible. We’ll discover how each of these areas will lead to more fruitful personal times in the word as well as teaching and preaching. Our guiding book for this year will be How to Read the Bible for All its Worth by Gordan Fee and Douglas Stuart. You can find the paperback fourth edition here.
There are a few updates and tweaks due to COVID restrictions.
A special note on Groups. Because of the restrictions mentioned above, our hope is to move from table discussion to one-on-one or one-on-some groups.

We want to be a church of disciples who make disciples. As our church grows in this area, one way we desire for this to occur is through intentional, consistent, one-on-one relationships. These relationships ultimately enable both parties—the disciple-makers as well as those being discipled—to grow in their knowledge of God and His Word as they mature in their spiritual walks, and is a beautiful representation of the church community in action.
If you are interested in either discipling, being discipled or both, please sign up here.
