Women's retreaTS & Mini-retreats

Women of all ages, come join us for weekend of refreshment and reflection at weekend-long retreats at a resort or at mini-retreats held at College Church.  You'll enjoy stimulating group gatherings, solid biblical teaching, encouraging testimonies of faith, opportunities to connect with other women and free time to relax and have fun!

The next mini-retreat is scheduled for fall 2008. Check back in the summer for more details.

Apples of Gold

Group mentoring program, cooking class, and Bible study

This program is an intergenerational program to connect younger and older women. Based on Titus 2:3-5, where Paul tells Titus to encourage the older women to train the younger women, we will learn about respecting our husbands, practicing submission, loving our children, and practicing hospitality, kindness, and purity. During each of the 6 weekly sessions, we will have a cooking class, Bible lesson, and sit-down meal. Read more about this program and its founder, Betty Huizenga.

Session 1: Thursday Nights beginning January 17, 2008, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

                  This session in primarily for young wives and mothers.

Session 2: Thursday Mornings beginning January 17, 2008, 9:30 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.

                  This session in primarily for young wives and mothers.

Session 3: Thursday Nights beginning January 17, 2008, 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

                  This session in primarily for college aged women.
