Women's Bible Study: Women's Bible Study consists of two parts: a large group teaching time and small group discussion. WBS meets Wednesday mornings or evenings and generally follows the academic calendar. Next fall, we will study select psalms from the book of Psalms.
The morning session runs from 9:15 to 11 a.m., and the evening session runs from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. Both sessions offer childcare (please note the morning childcare has a program with curriculum, as well as a limited-participation Homeschool Study Hall, whereas the evening childcare is much smaller and therefore just has typical childcare.) Registration for the 2017-18 school year will open on July 11. Please use the links on the right to register. We look forward to studying God's Word with you!
Homeschooler Study Hall: Homeschooler Study Hall is available for elementary students in grades 1-6. This class is only open to mothers who are actively attending WBS on a Wednesday morning, and mothers must be on College Church property during the entire class period. Our vision is one of a Study Hall, where students independently complete work while being supervised by capable adults. Students are expected to bring work to fill 90 minutes of class time. The final half hour is set aside for literature read aloud by the program director.
Class size for this program is limited, and registration will open on July 11. If you are interested, please complete the online application by Friday, September 1. Application does not guarantee acceptance into the program—program leaders will notify applicants of their status by Monday, September 4.
Please note that mothers whose children are participating in the program will be a part of the rotation of supervision, serving alongside the program director to monitor the Study Hall.
If you have any questions, please contact Precious Johnston.
Apples of Gold: Apples of Gold is a program that brings young women into relationship and mentorship with older women in the church for a shared time of cooking, bible study, and prayer. The program starts in January and spots are limited. Registration will open in the winter.
