Our intention for all of our music at College Church is to provide an environment where the people of God can engage with God. Whether it’s the congregation—our “first” choir of the church—raising voices together, the chancel choir singing an anthem, a worship band leading us in a psalm setting, a brass ensemble playing an offering by Handel, or the children’s choirs waving palm branches on Palm Sunday, the heartbeat of music at College Church is not us but the God we serve—Jesus Christ.

Music helps us declare our praise to God and celebrate the one who has redeemed us and reached into our lives with grace, hope and change. While we are blessed with a wide range of musicians serving the church in different venues, we want all of our musical gifts and talents to be captive to our captivating God, and to help lead our corporate times together in genuine worship of Christ in spirit and in truth.
