SPRING 2010 MISSIONS FESTIVAL

The emphasis of our Spring 2010 Missions Festival is Every way possible. This is taken from this year’s missions festival theme Everyone involved, Everywhere there’s need, Every way possible. This theme is grounded in Scripture’s insistence that every believer use his or her unique gifts (1 Peter 4:10-11) to advance the gospel everywhere there is need (Matthew 9:35-38) by all possible means

(1 Corinthians 9:19-23). This is Bible-based missions diversification for the sake of the good news.

Everyone involved means that every person—business people and homemakers, the young and the elderly, traditional missionaries and laypeople—have some role to play in advancing the truth of Jesus Christ cross-culturally. Everywhere there's need means that we will explore issues from evangelism among the least-reached to training national leaders. We will look at the needs created by urbanization, poverty, injustice, immigration and human trafficking. We will explore opportunities for community development, discipleship and a compassionate response to health epidemics. Every way possible means that we will investigate diverse and innovative ways to address these spiritual and physical needs, exalting Christ as Savior and Lord.

It is our prayer that through the weekend’s events, you will be personally challenged to consider your part in taking the gospel wherever there’s need and to all people.
