Walk with us through this adventure of life...
Men’s Gathering Join us the second Friday of each month (September through May) for a time to connect with other men. Each gathering includes singing, testimonies, practical teaching, and small group time. Continental breakfast is provided. We meet from 6-7:15 a.m. in Commons Hall. The remainder of the year, Men's Gathering will be focusing on "Men of Influence"--a look at the lives of some great men of faith. Join us: March 12: Jonathan Edwards April 9: C.S. Lewis May 14: Francis Collins June 11: Frank Davidson
Men’s Mentoring A great way to equip men is through mentoring relationships. This is a unique opportunity for a man to connect one-on-one with another man and walk deep together in God’s word. This seven week session covers many practical life issues in an intimate and focused setting. Meets Thursday mornings from 6-7:30 a.m. starting Thursday, April 8. Each session includes 20 minutes of instruction and one hour of 1-on-1 mentoring time. If you are interested contact Harper.
Compass Compass is a fellowship of men who remind one another of the Bible’s teaching on sexuality, are available for another as a supportive team of brothers, hold each other accountable and provide a safe, confidential place to share. This is a meeting to model and experience both the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. The group is open only to those who want to meet for the purpose of encouraging sexual purity. Due to the nature of these issues we insist on strict confidentiality. For information and meeting days/times, send an email to compass@college-church.org, or call Jim Elwell, (630) 841.9513. Men’s Conference Our weekend conference is held every other year in February. Our next conference will be held January 28–30, 2011. We also hold one-day special events. Watch for announcements about these during 2009-2010.

To engage men who need Christ We all need Christ. We are called by the Holy Spirit to present ourselves before God as holy and acceptable. The church is called to reach out to men with the gospel. When a man gives his life to Christ, God can use him to reach his wife, family, church, and community. God can use a wholly committed man to impact nations.
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2 ESV
