Costa Rica

High school students will partner with students and teachers from La Palabra de Vida Christian School with the goal of peer discipleship and gospel presentation using ESL, drama, small group discussions, VBS and sports. HYACKS will minister to students, first grade through high school.

Dominican Republic 1

June 16-June 30

Team Leaders: Debbie Bradley, Marilyn Papierski, Mark Macy, Lee Christoff

Continuing our long-term partnership with Kids Alive International's ministry to at-risk children in the Dominican Republic, the team will serve in the city of Jarabacoa by working construction and ministering directly to the children of the Ark. Team members will experience firsthand exposure to extreme poverty, heart-breaking family situations and the joy of serving “the least of these” in the name of Jesus.

Dominican Republic 2

June 23-30

This one-week team will replicate the activities of DR1with construction and ministering to children at the Kids Alive orphanage in Constanza, a city located southeast of Jarabacoa.

India

July 9-July 23

Team Leaders: Brad Hiben, Chuck King, Laurel Kietzman

Connect with the local student population of Varanasi through conversation and teaching English in one-to-one or group settings at an English training institute. Meet local believers and experience firsthand what it’s like to live among the unreached of India.

Italy

June 28-July 10

Team leaders: Andrew & Parker Nelson, Shelly Wildman, Bruce Wilson

In partnership with Nuova Vita Church and My Space Bologna, students will participate in peer-to-peer evangelism with Italian students.

My Space Bologna is the Youth for Christ student center which hosts sports events, tutoring and summer fun activities with the purpose

of building relationships and communicating the gospel to Italian youth who have never heard the gospel.
