COLLEGE
Our Vision

Word

We believe the centerpiece of God’s revelation of Himself to us is the Bible, inspired of God, without error, authoritative, clear, and sufficient. Thus, we strive to make it the centerpiece of the College ministry through study, interpretation, and application to our lives. We guide and measure everything we do by its truth and teachings.

Prayer

We believe that God’s power is magnified and our human dependence is affirmed in a life of Biblical, consistent, thoughtful, and engaged prayer. In particular, this is central to the ministry of our pastor and ministry leaders. Though less conspicuous, requiring stillness and mental occupation, prayer is the power outlet to ministry and is to be maintained as a pillar of all we do.

Shepherding

We believe personal relationships with students are core. We strive to develop, grow, and be intentionally involved in the lives of our students with an eye toward discipleship, equipping, and loving Christian fellowship that exults in our common bond in the gospel. Relationships are often the context for more indepth Biblical reflection, Christian worldview, and lifestyle patterns to be developed and encouraged. We want every student to feel welcomed, invited into relationship, and loved in the name of Jesus Christ.

Faith, Hope, and Love

We believe that the litmus test of the prior vision statements is the fruit that is produced, namely, the humble passion we possess for Christ, as individuals and as a body of believers. This is to be expressed in radical and obedient discipleship, a hunger for and an expression of holiness, a vivid understanding of grace, Biblical and theological thoughtfulness and purity, and an overwhelming Christ-centered understanding of reality.
