bruce wilson and his wife Becky have been in pastoral and cross-cultural ministry for twenty-two years. Since June 2002 Bruce has served as our Missions Pastor providing leadership and direction to our four missions initiatives.
In the late 1980s, Bruce & Becky spent three years directing the junior high program at College Church before moving to South East Asia where they served with Pioneers for eleven years. Over the years, Bruce led two urban church-planting teams. He coordinated numerous short-term teams, established an educational advising center, and worked as a consultant to several indigenous Christian organizations. Bruce is a graduate of Wheaton College and has done further study at the Wheaton Graduate School and in Asia. Bruce has been a guest lecturer at Wheaton College, Wheaton Graduate School and Beeson Divinity School. He occasionally teaches classes for the Perspectives course. His travels have taken him to more than 50 countries. Bruce and his wife, Becky, have two boys.
HOBBIES/OTHER INTERESTS: Coaching youth basketball and lacrosse. Running, snorkeling, scuba diving, and skiing. Enjoying the diversity of ethnic restaurants in the Chicago area.
