Nate Friedrichsen is a Ministry Associate with HYACKS, the high school ministry of College Church. Nate was raised in Akron, Ohio and earned his B.A. from Kent State University in Teaching English as a Second Language. His wife, Aimee, moved to the Akron area from Bartlett, Illinois to attend Malone University. Nate and Aimee were married in 2007 and do not yet have children. Nate began attending Wheaton Graduate School in 2008 and is currently working toward an M.A. in Biblical Exegesis and an M.A. in Historical and Systematic Theology. Aimee teaches seventh grade language arts at Hadley Junior High in Glen Ellyn. Nate and Aimee hope to work in long-term cross-cultural ministry, raising up church planters, pastors, and missionaries in an area of the world where they are needed most. Nate and Aimee began working with HYACKS as adult leaders and are excited for this new capacity to participate in the work of the Spirit to form students into the likeness of the Son for the glory of the Father.

HOBBIES/OTHER INTERESTS: I enjoy running, all things coffee, and reading old books. Aimee and I like to take walks together around Wheaton, which usually somehow end up at ice-cream.
