Jeffrey Buster, pastoral resident

Jeff serves as one of the Pastoral Residents under the direction of Todd Augustine.  He has attended College Church since 2003 and has been a member since 2008. Jeff earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies as well as Christian Formation and Ministry from Wheaton College and earned his M.A. in Biblical Studies and Historical and Systematic theology from Wheaton College Graduate School. Jeff’s ministry largely focuses around discipleship and pastoral care as well as teaching.

Before transferring to Wheaton, Jeff attended Trinity Western University in British Columbia for two years. The first 14 years of his life, however, were in the outback of Australia where he grew up on his family’s farm before moving to Montana. Jeff’s previous home church was Easthaven Baptist Church in Kalispell, MT where he served through his high school and college years.

Jeff was married to his wonderful bride, Aubrey, in June 2009. Aubrey also earned her M.A. in Exegesis from Wheaton College Graduate School and has a heart to make known the joy of seeking God throughout the Scriptures. Jeff and Aubrey both desire to serve God’s church through the study of His word and the leading of the Spirit as they dedicate their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. They are eager to continue to meet their church family over conversation and ‘doing life’ with those the Lord puts in their path.
