At College Church we believe that following Jesus is not just a Sunday morning event. Following Jesus means making daily, sometimes minute by minute, decisions to put him as the priority of our lives. The relationships that we have with one another are an important part of encouraging each other in this pursuit. Our adult ministries at College Church are a place where you can get connected with other adults to learn from the Bible about what it means to love and follow Jesus. We have groups that meet on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. So find a group and get connected today! Our adult ministries include:

 

Opportunities at College Church

GriefShare

If you have suffered the loss of a spouse, child, family member, or friend, GriefShare will help you on your journey through grief. It is a support group where you’ll find friendly and caring people, as well as valuable resources to help you recover from your loss and rebuild your life. Each class “stands alone”, so feel free to join at any point. Register on-site at your first class; the cost is $15 for the workbook. Surviving the Holidays: Has the loss of a loved one left you wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas? Surviving the Holidays is an encouraging seminar on dealing with loss during the holiday season. This special GriefShare seminar will be held Tuesday, December 6 from 7-9 p.m. in C002B. People in Need of Change is a 12-week class which will give the tools to help experience true and lasting Christ-centered change. Based on material by Paul David Tripp, class sessions will focus on things such as our need for help, the heart as the target, following the Wonderful Counselor, building relationships in which God’s work will thrive, and many others. Underlying each of the lessons is an emphasis on establishing a strong biblical foundation for our personal ministry. Pre-Marital Class

Becoming One is a class for engaged, soon-to-be-engaged and newly married couples. This 10-week class will examine the characteristics of a biblical marriage in topics such as the roles of husbands and wives, communication, conflict resolution, family, finances and intimacy. All couples, regardless of church background, are welcome. Class dates are February 5, 12 19 & 26, March 12, 19 & 26, April 2, 9, 23 and 30. Class fee is $20 for materials.
