At College Church we believe that following Jesus is not just a Sunday morning event. Following Jesus means making daily, sometimes minute by minute, decisions to put him as the priority of our lives. The relationships that we have with one another are an important part of encouraging each other in this pursuit. Our adult ministries at College Church are a place where you can get connected with other adults to learn from the Bible about what it means to love and follow Jesus. We have groups that meet on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. So find a group and get connected today! Our adult ministries include:

Marriage Workshop

We tend to think of love as something we do or don’t do. I love my wife and kids. I love Giordano’s pizza. I don’t love creamed spinach or the St. Louis Cardinals. But do we ever consider not if we love, but if we love well? The upcoming marriage workshop “Loving Well” on February 10-11 is intended to help us answer that and other questions. We want to love our spouses, but are we loving them well? How can we do that? How can we show our love better, and how can we better receive love in return?

Couples from every stage of marriage will benefit from the insights of our guest speaker, Leslie Vernick. Over the course of the workshop, Leslie will address these key issues in four sessions.

  • Session 1: What we don't maintain deteriorates. What is regular marital maintenance and how do we prioritize it in a busy life.
  • Session 2: The secret sauce that makes for great relationships.
  • Session 3. When hearts and trust are broken: How do we repair our relationship and rebuild fractured trust.
  • Session 4. The blessings of an imperfect marriage.

Registration for the Friday evening and Saturday morning workshop is only $25 per couple. Click here for more meeting details and registration. If you do not have a College Church account, please click on "Create Account" to create your account and then continue with your registration. Childcare is available for $10 per child, per day, with a maximum of $50 per family.

Leslie Vernick is a national and international speaker, licensed clinical social worker and the author of seven books, including the best-selling, The Emotionally Destructive Relationship. Her other books include, How to Act Right When Your Spouse Acts Wrong and How to Find Selfless Joy in a Me-First World. For more information about Leslie, visit
