Mar 19 – Responding to Issues & Using Resources
We tend to think of love as something we do or don’t do. I love my wife and kids. I love Giordano’s pizza. I don’t love creamed spinach or the St. Louis Cardinals. But do we ever consider not if we love, but if we love well? The upcoming marriage workshop “Loving Well” on February 10-11 is intended to help us answer that and other questions. We want to love our spouses, but are we loving them well? How can we do that? How can we show our love better, and how can we better receive love in return?
Couples from every stage of marriage will benefit from the insights of our guest speaker, Leslie Vernick. Over the course of the workshop, Leslie will address these key issues in four sessions.
Registration for the Friday evening and Saturday morning workshop is only $25 per couple. Click here for more meeting details and registration. If you do not have a College Church account, please click on "Create Account" to create your account and then continue with your registration. Childcare is available for $10 per child, per day, with a maximum of $50 per family.
Leslie Vernick is a national and international speaker, licensed clinical social worker and the author of seven books, including the best-selling, The Emotionally Destructive Relationship. Her other books include, How to Act Right When Your Spouse Acts Wrong and How to Find Selfless Joy in a Me-First World. For more information about Leslie, visit www.leslievernick.com.
